If you want more out of your life, your child’s life, or your parenting experience, let’s work together to make the necessary changes! Your life, school, and career success story starts with perseverance, good habits, and a positive mindset, and together we can create them. Contact me to discuss how you can change your life habits to achieve your desired success.
Below are the areas that I specialize in.

ADHD
ADHD affects many aspects of your life. Executive functioning skills are the mental processes that help us regulate our behavior, make decisions, and set and achieve goals, including planning, focus, self-control, and flexibility.

Parenting the Challenging Child
Some of the most burdensome moments for a parent are when it is clear to those around you that your child is defiant or difficult. What are other people thinking? What does this say about me as a parent? They might assume your child’s behavior is a result of inadequate parenting or something else amiss in your home. People may even be bold enough to share their views, without any sense of the shame they are heaping upon you. Those of you with a difficult child understand. You feel marked, and even judged, by your child’s personal struggles.

Autism Spectrum Disorder
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complex developmental condition involving persistent challenges with social communication, restricted interests, and repetitive behavior. While autism is considered a lifelong condition, the need for services and supports because of these challenges varies among individuals with autism.

Learning Disabilities
Learning disabilities are neurological conditions that affect a person's ability to learn and use certain academic or cognitive skills, despite having average or above-average intelligence. These disabilities can impact various areas, including reading, writing, spelling, mathematics, reasoning, and organization. Common types of learning disabilities include dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and nonverbal learning disabilities

Failure to Launch Young Adults
The current dilemma prevalent in young adults, often referred to as "Failure to Launch," describes individuals struggling to transition from adolescence to adulthood, characterized by difficulties in achieving independence and self-sufficiency.

Academic Tutoring
Some children benefit from extra tutoring due to various factors, including struggling to keep up with coursework, needing personalized attention, or having identified learning differences or disabilities. Tutoring can also be helpful for students who are excelling and need enrichment or are struggling with organization and study habits. My areas of expertise are: Basic Writing of sentences and paragraphs, Reading comprehension 2-4, Decoding Phonics, Math K-6, ESL, and High School Spanish and study skills.
Several of the challenges and setbacks you or your child are facing could be caused by executive functioning skills that need to be strengthened.
